Each year Sacramento's renowned B Street Theater holds a playwriting contest for kids ages 7-14 from throughout Northern California. The winners are showcased in this traveling production. Behold the extraordinary results of putting a professional theatre's staff at the service of young writers' talents!

Architect David Burton on"Sustainable Design: Lessons Learned in the Home and Around Town."
What makes a sustainably designed home? How can you make the leap from a sustainable home to a sustainable city? Architect David Burton will explore these questions through a series of examples of residential projects located around California and through the lens of his experience as a Vice President of the Planning Board and community activist for carbon emissions reductions in his hometown of Alameda.
